Research and development projects and academic activities are carried out in cooperation with Swiss and international companies and are financed by external competitive funding from Innosuisse, the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF), the European Commission and other private foundations. Technology transfer activities are typically supported directly by the partner companies.
